The perception we have of life, purpose, and identity plays a significant role in what we do, how we function, and how we see ourselves daily. Similarly, the prophet Jeremiah had his entire world view shifted by this one question asked by the Lord “What do you see?” Who would have imagined that the sight of an almond tree branch would forever change his life? So the question to you is what do you see?

Am I Seeing Correctly?

It is one thing to see but, are you seeing correctly? The young prophet did not just see but he saw correctly, and because of his correct sight, God was ready to perform His word. “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.” Jeremiah 1:11-12 Ensure what you see is in line with the will of God and His Word because God is ready to perform what He has revealed to you and God is ready to manifest on the earth what Heaven is seeing.

The Branch of an Almond tree.

What Jeremiah saw has such significance because the almond tree represents the transition from the winter season to the spring. The almond tree also represents God’s watchfulness. Historically the almond tree was the first tree to bud after the winter seasons, this was an indication that the spring season had begun. This is significant for some of us because, like Jeremiah, the way we see a thing can trigger our shift into a whole new season!

The Battle For Clear Sight.

We live in a day and time where there are various views and perceptions through which we see life, purpose, identity, and destiny. Most times our perception is formed through the influence of family, society, culture, religion, and the media. For some of us, it has now become a battle for us to see clearly because of all the views and perceptions that we receive daily. However, in this season the Lord is desirous of shifting our skewed gaze. He is challenging our perceptions. He wants Heaven’s perception to be our perception. He wants Heaven’s view to be our view. He wants us to see what He sees. The Lord wants to give us clarity on life, Purpose, Identity, and Destiny.

Seeing From Heaven’s Perspective.

Now you are probably wondering, how do I begin to see from Heaven’s perspective? How do I change my view? How do I begin to see clearly and correctly as Jeremiah did? In a recent message by Apostle Brent Pedro Titled “Divine Revelation For Transformation in the Earth” He gave 8 helpful tips to see from heaven’s perspective. “Click here Divine Revelation For Transformation On The Earth to see the full message on Revival Fire’s YouTube channel.”

1. Shift your perception of God.

How do you view God? What is your perspective of Him? Do you see Him as a Friend or Foe? Do you see Him as Father? Begin to search the Word and enquire of the Lord about who He is and it will help you shift your perception of Him.

2. Shift your perception of who you are in Christ.

Knowing who you are in Christ would help you to know your identity and to walk in the authority He has given to you.

3. Shift your perception by embracing the mind of Christ.

As a Christian, you have the mind of Christ and you should embrace it 1 Corinthians 2:16, Philippians 2:5–11. The mind of Christ was given to us as part of the finished work on the cross.

4. Shift your perception by setting your mind on the things above.

What you focus on will influence what you see and influence your perceptions. Colossians 3:2.

5. Shift your perception from reality as to what is happening in your present environment.

Don’t allow your perception of a situation to affect your environment, but allow the truth of God’s word to shift your perception and the situation.

6. Shift your perception by renewing your mind.

Having a renewed mind would result in a renewed and transformed perspective Romans 12:2.

7. Shift your perception away from logic and reason.

Logic and reason foster doublemindedness and doubt. It erodes your faith and undervalues the supernatural. Standing on the truth of the Word of God and not leaning on your understanding solidifies your faith and realigns your path. Proverbs 3:5–6

8. Shift your perception to be governed by faith.

As a Christian, you must operate by faith because without faith it is impossible to please God Hebrews 11:6.

Conclusion

For you to walk in the understanding of who you are and what you are called to be you must change your perception to Heaven’s perception and walk in the truth and the reality of who God says you are. The revelation we have of God and who we are will affect the transformation we bring to the earth. So the question to you again is “ What Do You See?”
